ABOUT

Restlawn South, located at 3301 Moncrief Road (across from William M. Raines High School), is an extension of Restlawn Cemetery. 

​

This idyllic, expansive, tree-lined property flows out into a beautiful 20-acre lake. This 54-acre property is simply breathtaking, invoking an unmistakable feeling of peace and rest. While the lake-front portion of the property is still being developed, a number of precious souls have  already been interred in our Eternal Rest and Peace gardens.

Restlawn South will offer both traditional in-ground burial options(ground spaces for your casketed or cremated loved ones) and  above-ground interment options via private family estates, community mausoleums  (housing crypts for your casketed loved ones),  and columbariums (with niches for your cremated loved ones). In addition, Restlawn South will have scattering gardens and a wall of remembrance with bronze plaques, to commemorate the life of those whose cremains have been scattered here on our grounds.

Mark Riposta has been the owner of Restlawn Cemeteries & Cremation Gardens, LLC since 2014. In addition to being a licensed cemeterian, Mark is also dual licensed as a Funeral Director & Embalmer in the state of Florida & Maine and holds the necessary certifications to provide alkaline hydrolysis and flame cremation services. Over the past 40 years, Mark has gained experience in all aspects of the death care industry. He has been a resident of Jacksonville for the past 3 1/2 years and is a faithful member of nearby Evangel Temple Assembly of God (on Ramona Blvd.).
